Law of The 3rd System
This system is based on a statistical theory called The Law of The Third.
Let´s take a quick look at how the Law of The Third, which is a theory about statistical distribution, applies to roulette.
Looking at a European roulette wheel with 16 black pockets, 16 red pockets and a green zero pocket: in total 37, the probability of you predicting a number before the wheel spins is 1 in 37, so around 3%. Quite low in other words. But look at the statistics of what numbers come up over time, and The law of The Third predicts that on average, after the wheel has spun 37 times in succession, 24 individual numbers will come up one or more times (around 2/3 of the wheel in other words), while 13 numbers will not show at all. It is unlikely that you will see this exactly every 37 spins, of course, as this is also subject to variation. We are talking on average.

So can you use this to your advantage? Well, this is exactly what some people chase. The roulette table is conveniently divided into different types of bets, one of which is the Dozens Bet and another the Columns Bet. These bets split the wheel into 3 groups of numbers (the columns splits vertically and the dozens split horizontally across the roulette table- plus you have the zero pocket of course).
In this system, you use the Columns or Dozens to make your third/third/third plays. Track the numbers as they come in.
If one number repeats in one grouping, you bet on the other two.
If 2 numbers come up in seperate dozens/columns for the first time, place a bet on both of the same areas looking for a number to repeat.
So does it work?
Well, what you have got to remember, is that the roulette wheel has no memory from one spin to the next. This system assumes that the previous spin (or spin before or 3 spins ago) will somehow have an effect on the current spin.
We are sorry to have to tell you that this is flawed. Now, if you are using this system to predict a group of 37 spins, it has more legs. Your system that you are predicting is a package of 37 spins. But in roulette, you make your bets from one spin to the next. If you are basing your prediction on the last spin, what is to say that it wouldn´t be better to predict it on last week´s spins? Or last month´s? Or the roulette wheel across The Pond? (Do you see our point?)
By all means use this system to help you play more methodically- just understand its limitations. if you can get a casino to accept bets on the next 37 spins, as we say, it has more merit.
Good luck! Always remember that you are making individual bets before every spin. The roulette wheel is one step back in evolutionary terms from the goldfish which at least has a 3 second memory (not that that would be any good unless you were playing VERY quickly). The roulette wheel has a memory span of 3 seconds less than a goldfish.
